Introducing Ambassador Cohort 2025

Say hello to the new cohort! Meet some of the Ambassadors who’ve just joined the programme this autumn 2025. They share a bit about their highlights so far, what they’re most looking forward to, and the things they’re excited to learn.


Kari (Bishopshalt School)

My highlights so far have been joining in with the workshops. I’m really looking forward to connecting with nature and meeting new people, and I’d love to learn more about the different plants and animals we need to protect and how to do that.


Ishika (Burntwood School)

A big highlight for me has been learning about nature and plants, especially because my mum loves botany. I’m excited to learn how we can protect the environment, and I really want to discover more about different plants.


Preston (Prendergast Vale School)

My favourite moment so far has definitely been the Deptford Creek trip and making oxymel. I’m looking forward to speaking up about environmental issues and hopefully going on the farm residential, and I want to learn about the actions being taken to reduce pollution.


Tabitha (Oasis Academy Shirley Park)

My highlights so far have been playing the river game and working together as a team. I’m excited for all the trips, and I really want to learn how to look after the environment properly.


Jiya (William Perkin School)

Going to the London Wetlands has been my highlight so far. I’m hoping to go on the farm trip, and I’m really interested in learning about different animal species.


Arthur (Graveney School)

My highlights have been visiting the Creekside Discovery Centre and playing the river-crossing game. I’m looking forward to more trips and discovering more about the world around us, and I’d love to learn about birds of prey in England.


Emily (William Perkin School)

I’ve really enjoyed visiting the wetlands so far. I’m excited for the summer camp, and I want to learn why only male whales make noise.


Abuntu (Harris Garrard Academy)

One of my highlights has been going on the trip. I’m looking forward to next year’s trip, and I want to learn more about different animals.


Tegan (William Perkin CofE School)

My highlight so far has been going on a Bertha Earth trip. I’m hoping to see and maybe pet some animals on future trips, and I really want to learn how plants grow during winter.


Ruby (Harris Garrard Academy)

I’ve enjoyed the team-building games and strategy activities the most. I’m looking forward to exploring nature more, and I want to learn how to better understand animals and support them as they struggle.


Mustafa (Bishopshalt School)

My highlights so far have been making new friends and working with others. I’m excited about the creative workshops, and I really want to understand how photosynthesis truly works.


Virgil (St John Bosco College)

It’s been a fun experience being part of the ambassadors so far. I’m looking forward to the farm trips, and I’m curious about what we’ll be doing while we’re there.


Mateo (Rooks Heath School)

My highlights so far include learning more about animals and planting activities. I’m looking forward to having fun and discovering new things, and I’m excited to learn about bugs and animals.


Mohammed (Harris Garrard Academy)

A highlight for me has been encouraging others to care for the planet. I’m looking forward to trips where we learn more about the Earth, and I really want to understand what causes natural disasters.


Francesca (Graveney School)

I’ve loved wading in the river and doing outdoor team activities. I’m looking forward to learning about sustainability, teamwork, different cultures, and going on the residential farm trip, and I’m excited to learn more about nature and working together.


Charlotte (Oasis Academy Shirley Park)

My highlights so far have been having fun with my friends. I’m looking forward to enjoying nature more, and I want to learn why people don’t care about the planet.


Adelina (St John Bosco College)

I’ve really valued how welcoming and positive the programme feels. I’m excited about the trips and getting to explore nature thoughtfully, and I honestly want to learn everything the programme has to offer.


Enya (Graveney School)

My highlights have been catching tiny animals with nets and making oxymel at Deptford Creek. I’m looking forward to exploring nature, learning new skills, and figuring out how to protect the environment, and I want to learn how to identify local plants and animals.


Filip (Oasis Academy Enfield)

I’ve enjoyed the weekly workshops and connecting with nature. I’m looking forward to learning more about the world, and I really want to learn how nature first began on Earth.


Joseph (Harris Garrard Academy)

Working together as a team has been a big highlight for me. I’m excited for the upcoming trips, and I’d like to learn more about plants and sea life.


Diana (Graveney School)

My highlights so far include working with new people and spending time in nature by the Thames. I’m looking forward to visiting the farm and learning how to care for animals and plants, and I want to learn more about sustainability.


Anaya (Graveney School)

My highlights so far have been learning about how the Earth first formed. I’m looking forward to watching how plants grow and change, and I really want to learn how continents might shift over time.


Shree (Sarah Bonnell School)

A favourite moment so far has been the Paper Garden trip. I’m looking forward to seeing if I get picked for more opportunities, and I want to learn more about plants.


Jobanjit (Bishopshalt School)

My highlights so far are meeting new people and being in a calm space. I’m looking forward to getting to know everyone better, and I really want to learn how to grow my confidence.


Mahdiya (Sarah Bonnell School)

My highlights so far have been staying curious and committed during our adventures. I’m looking forward to exploring the planet bit by bit, and I want to learn how Earth worked before humans existed.


Fatimatou (Prendergast Vale School)

My highlights so far are our weekly meet-ups. I’m looking forward to the residential trip, and I want to learn how the world really works and how we can solve problems.
