Meet Maya from Central Foundation Girls’ School, the winner of this year’s Badge Competition. Check out the video below to find out what inspired her design and how she hopes it will be received by the new Ambassador cohort this September.
Each year, the Ambassador Badge is an important part of welcoming the new group of Year 7s onto the programme. It acts as a little reminder that you represent Bertha Earth and can also be used as a conversation starter with other students to raise awareness about the great journey you’re on.
The Decision Process
We had 65 amazing submissions from 16 Ambassador groups this year — a HUGE thank you to everyone who took part!
To decide on the winning design, Bertha Earth created a shortlist based on the judging criteria and then put it to an anonymous vote. The shortlisted designs were:
